Introduction

The links on the right will take you to two pages* containing basic information like location, denominational affiliation, and degrees offered in sixty schools that currently offer programs in theological education in Canada. We have tried to be as comprehensive as possible.

Most of these schools are accredited by The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS). The entries for these schools contain a link to the relevant entry in the ATS Member Schools directory.

We have also included schools that offer programs for diaconal ministry, several colleges that provide programs emerging from a First Nations context, and several faculties of theology in universities in Québec that are not affiliated with the ATS. We have not included Bible colleges.

For many years, the CCTE produced a directory of institutions offering programs in theological education in Canada but we have discontinued this resource. Most of this information can now be accessed directly from the web sites of the individual colleges.
